Here’s why: the Denver Broncos and Jay Cutler are moving further apart by the day and sportsbook odds are now posted that he won’t even be playing for the Broncos next season. The Lions could and should trade the top pick in the draft for him and build their team around him. Matthew Stafford might be a good quarterback but he’s not a proven product like Cutler.
