While half the league is asleep - paying attention to the Kentucky Derby odds, boxing betting or NFL Draft betting - the Atlanta Falcons significantly improved their team.

The young Falcons acquired Pro Bowl - and likely Hall of Fame - tight end, Tony Gonzalez, who will help out quarterback Matt Ryan a great deal. As they say, a quarterback is a tight end’s best friend - or is it the other way around?

NFL betting fans should be weary of the Falcons even more-so than usual now. The Falcons have Ryan, Gonzalez, which teams with their Pro Bowl wide receiver Roddy White and Pro Bowl running back, Michael Turner. This is all of the sudden a dangerous team and they haven’t even improved their defense yet, which they will do via the draft.
