At this upcoming UFC odds event, we’ll see Matt Serra and Matt Hughes fight – two guys that have recovered from some serious surgeries. Brett Favre is apparently encouraged and might be going under the knife himself.

If I could place and online bet right now on whether Favre will play in 2009 or not, I would bet on ‘yes’.

Favre visited with Dr. James Andrews – the chief NFL medical expert – and we all know what that means. If he was staying retired, he wouldn’t have to do it. Since he’s not, he’s looking for ways to recover from his biceps injury.

It’s too early to care about the NFL season right now, especially with French Open betting and Indy 500 odds up on the board. Even so, it looks like Favre will be wearing purple and playing this season.

Other sporting events are taking center stage right now such as the French Open odds, UFC odds and Preakness odds and even though the NFL is quiet in the offseason, there is a huge story brewing in the NFL that is grabbing everyone’s attention: Brett Favre is coming back…or is he?

Favre was supposedly coming back after he set up some kind of a clandestine meeting with Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress. Then there were x-rays sent back and forth and now it seems unclear what is happening.

NFL betting fans, what do you think? Should Favre make another comeback?

It appears to be pretty serious now. Favre has met with Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress and he’s going to take the steps that he needs to take to recover from a torn biceps.

NFL betting fans know that Favre is over the hill but he’s better than what the Vikings have at quarterback. The NFC North has gone from being a terible division to know – with Favre, Jay Cutler and Matthew Stafford – could be very interesting.

There are many sporting that will be in the forefront more than the NFL this month, such as the French Open odds, UFC odds and Preakness odds, but there is a huge story brewing in the NFL:

Legendary quarterback, Brett Favre, is getting set to make his return to the sport. It sounds kind of crazy after two retirements and plenty of tears and plus, two ugly finishes to both the 2008 and 2007 season, but the Wranglers man isn’t ready to hang them up yet.

NFL betting fans might be getting tired of this act but the reality is that Favre is still an upgrade of Tarvaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels. He could make the Vikings a Super Bowl contender.

Stay tuned for more.
